After picking, the grapes were sorted and de-stemmed into a fermentation tank where they rested and soaked for 3 days. After a warm fermentation the wine was gently pressed to barrels for malolactic fermentation. This wine was aged in 50% new French oak barrels for 30 months. This wine was neither fined nor filtered.
Dense black fruits, dark chocolate and ripe strawberries consume the nose while black cherries, black raspberry truffles and cooking chocolate lead into a soft, rich, elegant finish.
