The wine has exceptional ruby red color. On the nose, intense red and black fruit aromas are accented by rose petal, cedar, and toasted vanilla. Cherry, plum, and blackberry on the attack followed by subtle oak flavors of vanilla and cocoa. The mouthfeel is very clean and pure. The bright fruit flavors evolve into a long finish of creamy oak, black cherry, and espresso. This is a beautiful wine and a classic expression of the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley terroir.
