Complex nose with aromas of anise, spearmint, cedar and ripe berries. On the pallet, bright red fruit flavors of cherry, blackberry and plum dominate with dark chocolate and toasted oak in the background. Lush finish with red fruit and dark chocolate flavors persisting in the mouth. This is a food friendly wine that would pair nicely with glazed rack of lamb, or thick pork chops.
