Thorn Hill 2016 Pinot Noir

Seductive cherry and spice aromas abound in this Carneros sourced Pinot Noir. Morning fog and cooling afternoon breezes insure that this fruit reaches maturity in the perfect growing conditions. The nose displays a beautifully fragrant array of bright raspberry, cranberry and pomegranate notes with a darker cherry tone and hints of rose petals adding complexity. The palate is rich and intense with concentrated Bing cherry and plum flavors that turn spicy on the long, velvet finish. This Pinot Noir is impressive now but will continue to delevop in the bottle for another ten years.
